is it october yet?
i may have mentioned this before: my radio station organizes two big fund-raising tours each year. a host and a staff person go overseas with listeners on a cultural tour. last summer they went to russia. this spring it's spain.
my turn comes this fall, and the agenda was just decided upon: venice, vienna & dubrovnik, croatia!

well, it turns out i spoke too soon. the itinerary has already changed a little. apparently, dubrovnik is a little too far away. from the other cities... so now they're considering venice as a beginning point, vienna as an ending point, and a stop between the two... on Lake Bled in northern Slovenia. Perhaps also including winery visits in northern Italy and Slovenia.
Oh no. How Lame. I am soooo disappointed you don't get to go to Dubrovnik..........
