divaville

i don't know how to say this without sounding cocky, so i'm not going to try to massage it at all. i'm just going to say it:

divaville is knocking everyone's socks off.

every week i get dozens of phone calls during the show, and email out the wazoo. one listener proposed marriage (though he refuses to set the date before i "get over my wayne newton thing") and another sent me a bunch of CDs in the mail. tony starlight wants to partner with me somehow, and i've met several rabid betty hutton fans. (who knew there were others??)

wednesday nights are fun. exhausting, but really really fun. on wednesday nights, i really feel like i belong in this town.

Just think - when this takes off and becomes nationally syndicated, and you are rich and famous, we can say we knew you when!

A sense of belonging is one of life's greatest gifts. You are well on your way my friend.

Run, don't walk, away from a man who insists you get over your Wayne Newton thing. He's clearly bad news.

How could Divaville NOT knock socks off? Glad Portlanders have the good sense to recognize something fabulous when it falls into their laps. Enjoy it ALL.
