two things

1) i saw bebel gilberto and forro in the dark at the aladdin theater last night. great, great show. the aladdin is an old general-admision, 600-seat venue; i already have tickets to see eric bachmann and josh ritter there in october. after the show the boy & i went to the doug fir for a bite to eat. great atmosphere, and a full menu until 4am. they have rock shows, too, but not last night. (eric bachmann actually played there last friday, the same night i went to see kurt.)

2) tonight is the first night of the new divaville! i don't think i'll have a way to take requests tonight, though. i'll be too busy trying to figure out this new studio.
