freak show
today was "picture day" at work. everyone put on nice clothes and had their portrait taken, just like in elementary school. except there were professional make-up artists there, too.
everyone got made-up. boys wore lipstick and rouge. i had SO much eye-makeup on, you would not believe. it was a total glamour-shot.
so everyone on staff got a head shot. then we three full-time announcers had a group shot. corny poses, lots of "tilt your head to the right, bring your chin down, twist your shoulders to the left, put your hand on his shoulder." the group shots actually came out really well, but i'm afraid i'm not going to like the head shot. we'll see.
don't worry, i'll share it with you when it becomes available. maybe. if it's any good whatsoever.
it was just sooo freaky walking around the office today seeing everyone caked in makeup. the boys washed their faces immediately afterward, but the eyeliner didn't come off very well. it was like i was suddenly working with goth boys. middle-aged goth boys.
freak show.
